SOCIAL & EDUCATIONAL EVENTS

The UUCVH greatest assets are the individuals and families who make up our congregation. To provide opportunities for members to build support systems, friendships, and a sense of history with others who share similar values, the Hospitality and Membership Committees, as well as the minister and individuals, plan and implement various activities throughout the year. • Coffee hour after each Sunday service.
• Potluck salad luncheons on the first Sunday of the month.
• Early Coffee and Goodies, third Sunday of every month at 9:30 am.  Come early and schmooze before the service!
• Friendship Dinners, which are small group dinners in members’ homes.
• Holiday Dinners, including children, at Christmas and Valentine’s Day.
• Congregational Dinners, such as the Pledge and Canvas Dinners.
• Annual family picnic.
• Welcome Breakfast for new members.
• Piano and other musical Concerts.
• Women’s Group Potluck Dinner every fourth Monday.

• Book Discussion

  A dozen to twenty of us have been meeting in the Fellowship Hall on fourth Friday evenings (7 to 9 pm) to discuss some books on politics that we have all read during the month.
